- Adjust the @seen feature so that if the person is still in the channel, it gives their current nick. - Solstace 2011-10-31
- There’s a reimplementation of
chanlog
,peak
,seen
, andtrace
in the cards that’ll enable this kind of functionality. Stay tuned — with any luck I’ll get around to it before the heat death of the universe. — IllFlower 2014-02-26 19:03 +0000
- There’s a reimplementation of
Possible
- BRING BACK THE MOECONOMY!!!!!! — Solstace (This is only half joking)
- You might as well invest in Bitcoin. It’s about the same. — IllFlower 2011-10-03 07:00 +0000
- An @addquote function, so as to wrest the market on lazy self-aggrandizement from feepbot. – altruizine Jan 17 2012
- Another thing that I’ve considered in the past but never really settled on how to implement. — IllFlower 2012-01-19 21:37 +0000
Completed
Implemented
- Removal of the @ship command, since it’s mostly used to harass people. While it could be considered a part of channel culture, it doesn’t bring any tangible benefit to users, and is a pretty dumb idea in any case. I’m told that it was temporarily removed, a while back; surely it can be removed a second time? – HederaHelix
- I don’t see why it should be removed. Does anyone feel particularly put off by it? And the usage of the command has fallen off since the original implementation. Also, when it was removed the first time it was brought back by the demand of a majority of the channel. – Iverum
- JackMackerel still uses it. – HederaHelix
- It’ll probably be gone in Omnipresence 3.0. — IllFlower 2012-05-17 04:42 +0000
- Or now. — IllFlower 2012-07-05 03:42 +0000

- Change @topic length limit to consider user’s /nick length as well? — Barcode 2012-08-15 13:25
- Done with the reimplementation from a few days ago. — IllFlower 2012-09-12 12:43 +0000
Rejected
- It’d be cool if something could be done to make the @define funtion a bit more reliable. As it is, it fails more often than not. — Solstace 2012-08-15 01:16 +0000
- I just came by to suggest a @w wiktionary:word command that includes a proper summary. Wiktionary generally has more definitions, I think, and you’re a mediawiki fetishist anyway. — James Wood 2013-03-11 06:38 +0000
- Wolfram Alpha has gotten more reliable with definitions, so I’m going to shelve this. Wiktionary’s result format isn’t conducive to easy parsing, unfortunately. — IllFlower 2014-02-26 19:03 +0000
- .note equivalent for Omnipresence. (HederaHelix)
- I may do this, given how frequently feepbot is unavailable and the fact that there’s no real substitute for this functionality for unregistered users when feepbot is absent. (Though really I feel they kind of deserve it for not registering their nicks.) — IllFlower 2011-12-24 20:56 +0000
- Yeah, it’s been two years. This isn’t happening. — IllFlower 2014-02-26 19:03 +0000
- A shortcut for searching for stuff in Bulbapedia, and also ones for Touhou Wiki and Final Fantasy Wiki, similar to what is now in place for AniDB. Also, an enforced cooldown period of some kind for @topic and @ship would be really, really helpful… — Hedera Helix
- The former should be doable with a twisting of the Wikipedia API plug-in into a general MediaWiki requester with a configurable API URL. The site matrix part used for language wiki lookups is Wikimedia-specific, so that’ll have to stay in a plug-in subclass. As for the latter, I’ll look into implementing a command back-off timer. — IllFlower 2011-10-03 07:00 +0000
- With the new topic command and the lack of a ship command I think the need for a timer is kind of negated at the moment. — Iverum 2012-10-07 10:44 +0000
- There are no longer plans to implement this feature, due to a lack of continued demand. — IllFlower 2014-02-26 19:03 +0000

- A @g/@w/@t-esque feature for deviantART, maybe. @da, perhaps? — Anonus, 2011/10/09
- deviantART doesn’t provide an official search API, and as far as I know, none is forthcoming — Google says that such a feature has been requested for years now.
I’ll consider creating a command, but the hassle of updating screen-scrapers may not be worth it.It’d probably be easier just to use@g site:deviantart.com search query
for searches. — IllFlower 2011-10-10 15:36 +0000
