Breath

Breath permeates, its presence often forgotten, rarely perceived, until one quickly feels its absence, or its explosion into thunderheads of rage and fury. Breath is both the air in one’s lungs as well as the currents of the sky. Their emblem is the light azure gust on the deep blue sky, and Heroes of Breath must learn to assert themselves socially.

Heroes of Breath are creatures of creativity, inspiration, and empowerment; specifically, the empowerment of others. They think in grand, broad, sweeping fashion, seeking to elevate lowly concepts into nuanced philosophies. Heroes of Breath are dreamers and leaders, heroes and riders. They are the breath or the breeze, the storm or the devastation. Sweeping across bodies and hearts, the whirlwinds bend the soft and crush the rest. Flight and speed is a great preoccupation with them, and they feel great joy when the Windy Thing manifests for the first time. Quick to blame yet quicker still to forgive, everything is of the same gravitas to a Hero of Breath, which would make them ideal for objectiveness if they weren’t so enthusiastic.

Wind On Our Backs Breath Level 6
Heroes of Breath are bosom friends of sailors. With the spirits of the air on their side, players need never be late again.
Target: All allies on scene. Attack: Mangrit + Level + Draw vs. overall difficulty. If successful, all allies in area move at double your level walking or running speed. Cost: 6 Mangrit
Cyclone Storm Stance Breath Level 10
The winds that erode the earth are subservient to the Heroes of Breath. Cloaked in the ebb and flow of ten thousand fans, the player moves and strikes with the force of a small contained hurricane.
At the cost of 10 Mangrit, you surround yourself in a sheath of buffeting winds, which adds your level score to your Fleetness and Vim scores, allows you to jump up to (level + Fleetness) high, and protects you from projectile fire. Those who touch you experience (their Vim divided by 2) yards in knockback. Cost: 10 Mangrit
