The Knight
The Knight is the vanguard, the front line, the bearer of banners and the rider on the storm. For the players of the Knight class, courage is their greatest resource, as they are masters of making it or faking it. In the hand of a Knight, courage can turn one chance of success into a hundred. As such, bravery is not mere illusion to them, it is the source of their power. War is the trade of the Knight, battle his currency. But the Knight is no simple warrior, no chevalier of blood. No, the Knight is a protector, who stands guard against the darkness, who raises shield to smash the wicked and raises sword to ward off ruin’s blow.
Knights are loyal to a fault, for they exist to support others. Their pledges - though sometimes unspoken - are ironclad, bonded with their faith and honor, laying their lives on the line in service. Although Knights work well alone, they must learn to stop fooling themselves and admit that they need friends. Knights must learn to stand with others or fall alone.
The one duty of the Knight not related to combat is to assist the Hero of Space in the breeding of frogs.
Knights, seeking a worthy master, often swear their services to the Heir, but can ably take command when said Heir is incapacitated.
Witches and Knights get along sometimes, but if the Witch turns corrupt, it is the Knight’s duty to slay her.
Seers find themselves intimately connected with Knights, often finding themselves in need of protection or vice versa.
Possible candidates to take the the Knight class were Saladin or Mordred.
